Out of Storage

Out of Storage is the first public project by Marres Projects and has given a possible answer to the current economic crisis and the resulting stagnation in the development of the urban area Belvédère. The Timmerfabriek in Maastricht, the location of Out of Storage, forms part of this massive development project, which is currently subject to a fundamental reconsideration. The empty factory of more than 5,000 m2 found a temporary purpose thanks to this project, proving the potential of the location and the innovative partnerships that art institutes can enter into. In this particular case Marres Projects with the institute for collection FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais, the Area Development Group WOM Belvédère, the City of Maastricht, the Province of Limburg and Maastricht VIA 2018
